Getting Started

If you're struggling with your mental health — whether it's anxiety, depression, mood changes, ADHD, substance use, or something you're still trying to understand — Hope Restored may be a great fit. The best way to find out is through our free 15-minute consultation. There's no commitment required, just a conversation.
Your first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. Ursula will take time to understand your mental health history, current symptoms, lifestyle, and goals. Together, you'll develop a personalized treatment plan. Most initial appointments last 60 minutes.
You can book through any of our four platforms — Hello Alma, Headway, Grow Therapy, or Psychology Today. Choose whichever works best for your insurance or preference.
Yes, absolutely. Your first 15-minute consultation is completely free with no commitment required. It's simply an opportunity for us to connect, answer your questions, and make sure we're the right fit for your needs.

Telehealth

Telehealth appointments take place via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Once you book, you'll receive a link to join your session from any device — phone, tablet, or computer. No special software is required in most cases.
All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, and a private, quiet space where you feel comfortable talking. That's it — we handle the rest.
Research consistently shows that telehealth psychiatric care is just as effective as in-person care for most conditions. Many patients actually find it easier to open up from the comfort of their own home, which can make sessions even more productive.
Hope Restored is primarily a telehealth practice. In-person appointments may be available by request in select circumstances. Please contact us directly to discuss your specific situation.

Insurance & Fees

We accept most major insurance plans including UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Cigna, Oxford Health Plans, Oscar, Harvard Pilgrim, Florida Blue, Humana, and many more. Visit our Fees & Insurance page for the full list.
Don't worry — contact us directly and we'll help you explore your options. We also offer competitive self-pay rates for patients whose insurance we don't currently accept.
Yes. We offer self-pay rates for patients who prefer not to use insurance or whose plan we don't accept. All fees are discussed transparently during your free consultation — no surprises.
You can call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask about your mental health or behavioral health benefits. You can also reach out to us and we'll do our best to help you navigate your coverage.

Our Services

We treat a wide range of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, eating disorders, PTSD, and substance use disorders. If you're unsure whether we can help with your specific situation, reach out — we're happy to talk it through.
Pharmacogenomic testing analyzes your DNA to determine how your body processes and responds to psychiatric medications. This allows us to make more informed, personalized medication decisions — reducing the trial-and-error process and improving outcomes.
MAT combines FDA-approved medications like Suboxone or Sublocade with counseling and behavioral therapy to treat substance use disorders, particularly opioid addiction. It's a proven, compassionate approach to recovery that treats the whole person.
To obtain an ESA letter, you'll first need a comprehensive evaluation with Ursula to determine whether an emotional support animal would benefit your mental health. If approved, we'll provide the official documentation required by landlords and airlines.

Logistics

We are currently licensed and practicing in Florida, Texas, New Mexico, and Washington. You must be physically located in one of these states at the time of your appointment.
Initial psychiatric evaluations typically last 60 minutes. Follow-up medication management appointments are generally 20-30 minutes. Therapy sessions are typically 45-60 minutes. Your exact appointment length will be discussed during your consultation.
Frequency of appointments depends on your individual treatment plan. Initially, you may be seen more frequently as we establish your care. Over time, as you stabilize, appointments may become less frequent. This is always tailored to your specific needs.
We ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee. Life happens — if you need to reschedule, please reach out as soon as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
